The most beautiful landscape I’ve ever seen
Words can’t describe how stunning Plitvice Lakes are. Their deep blue color is gorgeous, and when the sunlight hits…I swear they change colors. And don’t get me started on the waterfalls, so majestic…especially the 'Veliki Slap'! We took two different trails, and I honestly couldn’t make up my mind which was prettier. The entire national park is beautiful, and now I understand why it is on a list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites!
We definitely got our money’s worth!
The Plitvice tickets are valid for one day, so you can be at the park from open to close. We initially thought this was overkill, and we’d only need a few hours, but we ended up staying until close! The park is huge, and so beautiful we spent all day exploring. I’m very glad we got these tickets because they also include a skip-the-line access!
